A 67-year-old woman was attacked on a bus on Monday.
Police told News 12 the attack happened at around 1 p.m. on East 161st Street and the Grand Concourse. Police say two women with a stroller got on the Bx1 bus and bumped the 67-year-old with the stroller.
This led to a dispute, then later the attack, police say.
Police say they spoke with the victim and she refused medical attention, even though she was bleeding.
Julio Rivera told News 12 he began to record the attack when he began to hear screams and cursing.
Rivera is using crutches at the moment and wishes he could of helped. He says the two women involved had a child inside the stroller and ran away afterwards.
He hopes we can all take a step back and is trying to bring awareness to the situation.
