Dominoes has become more than just a game for some residents in Williamsburg.
Members of the Federacion Hispana de Domino de NY, Inc. are now able to enjoy their favorite game together thanks to the Williamsburg Polonia Democratic Club and Ladies Auxiliary.
Sunday marked the first day of a tournament that will last six months and continue every Sunday.
"We've been doing it over 30 plus years for the community and this generation of Latinos," said Roy Acosta, vice president of the domino federation. "That's what we normally like love to do - play dominoes and have fun."
Members of the club say they look forward to meeting every week to play their favorite game and spend time with friends.
