An elderly man has died after being struck by a car on Monday.
Police say Angelo Gerardi, 89, was hit by a car on East Tremont Avenue near Roosevelt Avenue. They say that Gerardi was not on the crosswalk when he was hit by the car driven by an 87-year-old man.
Gerardi died from his injuries on Wednesday.
The driver of the vehicle was not injured.
