A woman pleaded not guilty on Tuesday to endangering the welfare of a vulnerable, elderly person. 

It comes after 60-year-old Rita Collazo, of Yonkers, was arrested in connection to a 98-year-old woman found bleeding outside a Tuckahoe assisted living facility, according to police.

Collazo is accused of shoving that woman to the ground after the pair got into an altercation on Nov. 21 at the Fountains at RiverVue Memory Care Unit. At the time of the incident, Collazo was employed as an aide at the Fountains at RiverVue.

The elderly woman broke six ribs and also suffered from bleeding of the brain, according to police.

After the incident, the woman wandered out of the facility before someone spotted her and called the police. 

The woman was released from the  ICU but is still at Westchester Medical Center. 

Collazo was fired and is due back in court Dec. 21.
