A military dad had an emotional homecoming with his daughter in Baldwin Friday.
Staff Sgt. Jason Reyes surprised his daughter, Brooke, at Plaza Elementary School.
Her class was learning all about Veterans Day when he walked in.
Staff Sgt. Reyes didn't get to see her start school in September, because he's been stationed in Dubai.
"He went away and I missed him a lot," Brooke said. "So then sometimes mommy and me were crying because we missed him a lot, but that's OK, because he's finally here now."
This was also Reyes' first time meeting his newest daughter Bianca, who was born in August.
He says he watched Bianca's birth via webcam, but nothing compares to the first time he laid eyes on her.
"It hit home real hard, seeing her," Reyes says. "I laughed at first because she was just on the sofa, then I held her and I just started crying. She's about to take my heart too now."
He expects to be home for at least another two years.
