Actor John Leguizamo joined executives from Altice USA in the Bronx Wednesday to announce a new affordable Optimum internet plan for the community.
The program is in partnership with BronxWorks.
Leguizamo, who played the character "Benny Blanco, from the Bronx," in the movie "Carlito's Way," also offered some motivational advice for children.
The kids were more excited to learn that Leguizamo is also the voice behind the Sid the Sloth in the movie "Ice Age."
Altice USA is the parent company of News 12.
