Amtrak service canceled between New York and New Haven due to derailment

A freight train derailed in Hunts Point and overhead wires were seen on fire Tuesday, causing Amtrak to cancel service until further notice between New York and New Haven.

A freight train derailed in Hunts Point and overhead wires were seen on fire Tuesday, causing Amtrak to cancel service until further notice between New York and New Haven.
The FDNY was on scene of the incident but kept their distance from the tracks due to the fire. 
It was not immediately clear when the rail service would be available.
