They say a human skull was found in a wooded area by construction workers who were working Friday and made the discovery.
Authorities on the scene searched with flashlights and zoned in on the area where they put up a blue tent and started digging.
According to police, they found evidence in more than one area they were canvassing.
Officials say the human remains they found were heavily decomposed.
