Best of the Bronx: Graffiti showcase
A graffiti pioneer is showcasing his skills at an exhibit in Port Morris.
Nicer Nazario is trading in his brick and spackle for frames and canvas.
The artist formed a popular graffiti collective called TATS CRU over 35 years ago at James Monroe High School. The group is well-known for their loud and colorful murals.
The pin-up inspired paintings in the Naughty but Nicer Collection show a more delicate side to Nazario's craft.
The collection can be seen at WallWorks on Alexander Avenue through March 25.
