With so many choices on where to eat traditional Italian cuisine in the Bronx, one man is trying to make residents’ decisions a little easier.
Pasta, pizza, subs and calzones. Those are the items one will find on the menu at Mutz, a new Italian restaurant at the Throgs Neck Shopping Center.
Owner Joseph Sansotta opened his first deli 13 years ago and decided making fresh, affordable and traditional Italian food inspired by his mother's recipes is what he wanted to do.
Sansotta opened Mutz in April in an effort to bring his family's favorites to the public.
"Bringing Sunday dinner, every day," Sansotta says, is what he wishes to do.
He says business is going well, and he plans on opening two more locations in the coming year.
