A Bridgeport neighborhood is calling for speed bumps after a 13-year-old boy was hit by a car while riding his bike Friday.
The crash happened on Columbia Street. The teen's family says he is in stable condition at a local hospital.
Officials say the driver stopped and cooperated with police.
Neighbors plan to ask for speed bumps along Columbia Street at the next City Council meeting.
