Broken elevator keeps disabled boy inside
A boy who uses a wheelchair has been stuck inside his apartment for about a month because his building's elevator is broken, says his mother. Francisco Olivares lives on the top floor of the building

A boy who uses a wheelchair has been stuck inside his apartment for about a month because his building's elevator is broken, says his mother.
Francisco Olivares lives on the top floor of the building at 50 East 191st St. His mother says she and Francisco's sister have been carrying his wheelchair down the stairs while Francisco crawls.
His mother says the situation has been going on for about a month, and says it breaks her heart. She says she has spoken to management, but they only tell her that it will be fixed.
News 12 did try to reach the building's landlord at two numbers. One kept ringing and the other went to a dial tone.
