An actor from the Bronx will be on TV screens across the U.S. this February, and he wants the borough to know anything is possible.
Frisco Cosme's love for the arts began when he was 5 years old when he saw the movie "Fame" for the first time.
A self-proclaimed triple threat, Cosme grew up on Fordham Road and originally channeled his passion through dance until his time on stage led him to both acting and singing.
He landed a spot in the High School for Performing Arts. Since then, Cosme has choreographed for the British Virgin Islands Miss World Pageant, did backup dance work for Judy Torres and Deee-lite, performed in off-Broadway shows and landed roles on TV shows, including "Person of Interest" and "Blue Bloods."
In 2020, Cosme is releasing a new song and acting in "In the Heights" which will premiere in June. He will also be in a new ABC series called "For Life" set to premiere in February.
He says he wants other Bronx residents to know that the only person standing between you and your dreams is yourself.
