Commuters got their chance to weigh in Tuesday on the MTA's proposed plans to redesign bus routes in the Bronx.
The MTA held an open house to give commuters a chance to see the plans and ask questions about the major service changes proposed for the area.
The MTA's plan focuses on four points that include streamlining bus routes, minimizing the number of turns each bus makes, making routes more direct and reducing the number of stops each bus makes.
The plan also calls for improving east-to-west connections throughout the borough and the frequency of bus service.
A second open house will be held Wednesday at the Bronx Museum of the Arts.
