A Bronx affordable housing complex is marking its 50th anniversary with a multimillion-dollar makeover.
The Concourse Village housing development will be undergoing a major facelift, which includes upgrading all electrical outlets, upgrading the heating systems, getting a new roof and façade work.
The complex was approved for a $32 million loan by Wells Fargo to renovate its six buildings.
A new playground will also be built as part of the renovation.
The first phase of the renovations will begin on the ground level of the East Plaza. Construction is expected to take three years.
