Bronx health organization rallies against diabetes
Bronx health organizers and community leaders rallied Monday for diabetes prevention and awareness. 
Members of the group 'Health People' gathered on Southern Boulevard at their Long Wood outreach facility.
The organization offers educational assistance to diabetics struggling with the disease. 
Organizers say they are calling on the state to fund more diabetes prevention programs.
According to the group, over 5 million New Yorkers are pre-diabetic.
