Bronx holds 38th annual Columbus Day Parade
Bronx residents got a head start on celebrating Columbus Day with the 38th annual Bronx Columbus Day Parade on Sunday.
Over 20,000 marched from the top of Morris Park Avenue to the end of Williamsbridge Road.
Some who watched the parade say they wanted to show their support for Italian-American heritage.
Others say the day symbolizes freedom and being able to continue traditions.
