A creative Bronx community is once again coming together Wednesday to promote buying local for the holidays.
Designer and Entrepreneur Mugzy McFly pulled together the second-annual Supply the Demand pop-up coming up Sunday. 25 Bronx vendors will be in one room selling clothes, jewelry, food and more.
McFly's friend Renee Tyrell, who runs her own online boutique, came up with the idea last year for the first pop-up.
The two are finishing printing shirts for this weekend's event, hoping Bronx residents will come and buy holiday gifts from those who live near them.
They also hope attendees will network and younger people will be inspired.
The event is taking place Sunday from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. at Somerset Hall at 4363 Somerset Blvd.
