Bronx mother charged with endangerment of son
A Bronx mother is in custody Thursday morning after being charged with reckless endangerment of her own son and harassment.
Alexis Jabbour, 20, was arrested Wednesday night after police say she sent a disturbing image of her son to the boy's father along with several alarming text messages.
Officials say the father went to the Administration of Child Services, claiming that Jabbour sent him a picture of the baby with a knife to his throat, as well as alarming text messages about the child's safety.
A missing child alert was issued for 7-month-old Nathaniel Jabbour, but was canceled once he was found safe.
Officials say that the boy is safe and currently with child protective services.
