Bronx police brutality claim 'under review'
A Bronx mother and her daughter left the emergency room Thursday after they say police assaulted them during a birthday party in their apartment building Wednesday.
Miriam Jimenez's daughter claims she was held up against a window by an NYPD officer while her boyfriend and his best friend were taken out of their building at 2645 Third Ave. in police custody.
One of the men claims he was being charged with resisting arrest.
When the incident was over, a stun gun and a badge were left behind. They were later picked up by an NYPD officer.
It's not clear what prompted the NYPD to enter the building.
News 12 has reached out to the NYPD multiple times about the incident. The only information they would release was that it is currently under internal review.
