Brooklyn's Uzbek community speaks about terror arrests
Some Brooklyn residents from Uzbekistan say their community has been scrutinized after three men were arrested for allegedly trying to take part in a terror plot.
Back in February three Uzbek men from Brooklyn and their friend from Kazakhstan were arrested after federal authorities said they were trying to join the Islamic state group and commit acts of terrorism.
Sheepshead Bay is home to a growing number of Uzbeks who say they don't want to see their community be overshadowed by the recent arrests.
They say they would like to see more programs made available to have people from all backgrounds come together and learn more about the Uzbek culture.
