Bus shelters vandalized in the Bronx
A string of bus shelters were vandalized overnight in the Bronx.
Six of the seven shelters along the Bx5 line on Story Avenue were vandalized, scattering glass all over the sidewalk.
There were other vandalized shelters reported in Hunts Point.
Most of the vandalized shelters appear to be stops for buses headed toward Pelham Bay. The one shelter not vandalized was close to a police precinct.
The MTA has not yet returned a call seeking comment about the incidents.
