County Bank in Woodlawn was robbed Saturday morning for the second time in the past two weeks.
Police believe the incidents may be related.
News 12 The Bronx is told the suspect walked into the bank just before 11:30 a.m. and slipped the bank teller a note demanding money and stating he had a gun.
Officials say the man who robbed the bank two weeks ago used the same method.
Police say the thief got away with $700 in the first robbery and $2,500 during the most recent robbery.
No arrests have been made.
Police say they are investigating to find out if it was the same suspect in both robberies.
