Yale's Peabody Museum now has lanternfly specimens for scientists to research thanks to Bobbi Wilson, the girl also known as "the lanternfly girl."
As the museum's first lanternfly donator, Wilson was also celebrated at the university.
Last October, Wilson had Caldwell police called on her by a neighbor while she was doing her part in getting rid of the invasive bugs.
Bobbi and her older sister Hayden plan to attend a summer program in NJIT on full scholarships in July.
