A car crashed into a home on Pelham Parkway South around 8:30 a.m. Thursday, police say.

Officials say the driver of the car was turning into the driveway of the home and then suddenly crashed into it. Police say the house is the driver's home.

News 12 is told one person was hit and trapped under the car.

Neighbors tell News 12 it's very scary that someone can just drive into a house.

News 12 is told the person hit by the car is in critical, but stable condition at NYC Heatlh + Hospitals/Jacobi.
