It's all fun and games at a store in Carroll Gardens where Brooklyn residents big and small can roll the dice on some healthy competition.
The Brooklyn Strategist is a community board game space on Court Street.
The space offers more than 500 games and counselors for all ages.
The Brooklyn Strategist offers after-school competitions for children from anything from cards to fantasy games like Dungeons and Dragons.
It's the brainchild of owner Jon Freeman, inspired by his background in neuroscience, to put a spin on children’s' development.
“Bottom line is fun. We don't mention the word learning even though we know it's going on in the background,” says Freeman.
