Caught on camera: Police release video of Kingsbridge Heights shooting
Police have released a new video of a suspect they're after in connection to a shooting in Kingsbridge Heights.
News 12 is told the 23-year-old victim survived after being shot in the back.
The newly released surveillance video shows a man with a white T-shirt and a purple do-rag aiming what seems to be a gun into the street. He is seen pacing back and forth while another man stands behind him.
Police say the assault happened around 4 a.m. Sunday on West Kingsbridge Road and Sedgwick Avenue near a deli and a Kennedy Chicken.
News 12 is told the victim was standing nearby when the gunman started shooting, striking him in the back.
He was taken to St. Barnabas Hospital in stable condition.
It's unclear if there was argument before the shooting or how they're connected.
The deli owner tells News 12 police have been investigating the scene since Sunday.
Police are offering up to a $2,500 reward for information that leads them to the suspect.
Anyone with information is asked to call police.
