A cold case arrest has been made in a 2015 rape of a then-12-year-old Bronx girl.
On Feb. 24, 2015, a young girl was seen on surveillance video being grabbed and led away by a random stranger not much older than herself.
The young girl was then forced into an alleyway where she was raped.
Through relentless police work and modern science, a suspect has been charged in the case.
Police say because the suspect was a minor at the time of the crime, they aren't releasing his name. He will be prosecuted in family court.
The survivor, now 16, says she is looking at prospective colleges and a future without fear now that her alleged rapist has been brought to justice.
