DA: Summons warrants to be vacated during BX event
Bronx District Attorney Darcel Clark is bringing her "Another Chance" campaign to the borough, giving those with summons warrants for small offenses the opportunity to clear their record.
Through the campaign, any Bronx resident that has received a ticket for a low-level quality-of-life offense and has a warrant on their record for failing to answer to the summons can have that ticket vacated.
Some of the eligible offenses include public alcohol consumption, disorderly conduct, unlawful possession of marijuana, trespassing and loitering.

Misdemeanors, felonies and traffic tickets are not eligible.
Clark says that legal aides will be available for anyone with questions.
The event begins on Saturday at the Mount Hope Community Center on 175th Street at 9 a.m.
There are currently more than 1 million open summons warrants in New York City.
