A yellow dump truck veered off the Cross Bronx Expressway Wednesday into trees in Throgs Neck.
The front of the dump truck had to be detached after getting stuck in the trees for 45 minutes.
Witnesses say the driver of the truck had to be removed by emergency workers and placed in an ambulance.
A white SUV that reportedly belongs to a Long Island-based laundromat company was also involved.
The manager of the laundromat says the employee was taken to a nearby hospital and is expected to be fine. The manager says she believes the other driver may have suffered a medical episode.
