EC Salsero rocks Hunts Point with video shoot
Hunts Point residents got a big wakeup call on Saturday morning from local musician EC Salsero and his fans.
Just after 10 a.m., more than 100 people came out to participate in a video shoot for Salsero, a budding star who has been compared with Marc Anthony.
"The theme of my music video is block party festival," Salsero says. "I just wanted to come to Hunts Point, make some noise here."
Salsero says his music is meant to evoke passion, joy and love. He hopes an event like Saturday's can combat the negativity he perceives in the area.
