The FDNY says crews responded to a sanitation truck fire just after 3 a.m. Monday.

A photo shared with News 12 shows a large pile of trash blocking 183rd Street between Walton and Jerome Avenues.

Surveillance video from a nearby deli shows the truck dumping the trash while FDNY crews extinguish the flames. Hazmat crews were on the scene due to the presence of a lithium-ion battery.

No injuries were reported.

When News 12 arrived on scene around 10 a.m., City Waste Services crews were seen cleaning up the trash.
