Flights resume at Newark Liberty airport after flooding suspended operations
Things are slowly getting back to normal at Newark Liberty International Airport this morning after flights were suspended overnight due to severe flooding.
The airport had to be evacuated Wednesday evening as floodwaters got into the Terminal B baggage claim area. All flights were canceled due to the storm impacts.
Limited flights have resumed, so if you are headed to the airport, check with your airlines before you head out.
Right now, the airport is experiencing average departure delays of 1 hour, 53 minutes.
