Former President Bill Clinton campaigns for Hillary in the Bronx
Former President Bill Clinton was in the Bronx Monday to campaign for his wife, presidential hopeful Hillary Clinton.
The former president spoke to seniors at the Hebrew Home for the Aging in North Riverdale to rally more votes for Hillary Clinton ahead of the New York primary.
Clinton, who hosted the event with Rep. Eliot Engel, talked about Hillary Clinton's experience and her support of equalizing of social security.
"The one group that has been disadvantaged in their older years are older woman, and she supports social security for them and is trying to equalize their situation," said Clinton.
On Tuesday, the former president heads to Queens with Rep. Grace Meng and to Manhattan with Rep. Joseph Crowley. 
Hillary Clinton will debate Bernie Sanders on Thursday, a week ahead of the New York primary on April 19.
