Free children’s festival held at Soundview Park
With summer coming to a close, families had one of their last few opportunities to soak in the sun at Soundview Park.
A free children's festival was held at the park as part of Sen. Jeff Klein's Summertime Symphonies series.
Kids enjoyed face painting, a bouncy house, arts and crafts, balloon making and free lunch.
"Now, we want to open up the park to the kids for the day," says Klein. "You know, they're going to go back to school pretty soon so we want to make sure they have as much fun as they can before they return to reading and arithmetic."
