Funeral announced for NYPD detective, U.S. serviceman killed overseas
An NYPD detective and U.S. serviceman who was killed during a suicide attack in Afghanistan will be laid to rest this week.
Detective Joseph Lemm was one of six U.S. servicemen killed in last week's attack.
He also spent 15-years working for the NYPD and was part of the Bronx warrant squad at the 50th precinct. 
A wake will be held Tuesday at Saint Anthony of Padua Catholic Church in West Harrison from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. and 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. 
His funeral will be held at Saint Patrick's Cathedral on Wednesday in Manhattan beginning at 10 a.m.
