4h agoA garbage truck caught fire in Trumbull Wednesday temporarily shutting down a road in front of town hall.
The garbage truck caught fire in front of Quality Street near Stop & Shop plaza around 5:30 a.m.
Quality Street was closed until 8 a.m., but reopened after the truck was cleared from the area.
The driver was at a red light when they noticed flames on the top of the truck
The driver was not injured, and officials say the truck was a total loss.
