Gov. Cuomo pushes for paid family leave during Harlem rally
Gov. Andrew Cuomo was back in Harlem today pushing for his paid family leave proposal.
Cuomo says the plan would affect millions of New Yorkers, especially minorities and low-income workers who would not ordinarily be able to afford extended time off without pay.
The plan would grant 12 weeks of paid leave benefits for anyone caring for a newborn or seriously sick relative in New York.
