Bronx residents say graffiti and garbage continue to plague Flood Triangle Park in Fordham and the post office nearby at Third Avenue and East 188th Street.
Deseri Acevedo says she has called 311 multiple times but feels she isn't getting anywhere.
After News 12 reached out to the Parks Department, cleanup crews arrived on the scene and added two garbage cans.
Acevedo says she hopes the cleanup will spread to the graffiti outside the local post office.
News 12 reached out to postal officials and they say they are looking into the issue.
Parks officials told News 12 that the area is heavily trafficked and frequently patrolled. They are encouraging visitors to keep it clean.
