A wall filled with grafitti has now been turned into a message of love.
Julio Pabon from the South Bronx Community Association had a vision four years ago, but it took some time.
Pabon first had to find a spot, and picked the wall on 150th Street and Cedar Avenue. Council member Rafael Salamanca stepped in to fund the event.
The funding went to nonprofit Pregones Theater to get the project done.
Once the artist was found, they needed a message.
"We need to promote more love and something as simple as this. I think is good, people are actually stopping by taking pictures," said Pabon.
