It is almost the holiday season, and one of Santa's little helpers is hard at work making sure every child has the chance to get a gift of their own.
Children at the Greek American Institute collected nearly 100 toys to give to other students in the Bronx.
Organizers say the toys were all once loved by the students, but are now ready to be given to those less fortunate.
The idea came from student Joseph Petraglia, who with his mom and his school partnered with Second Chance Toys which connected them to P.S. 531.
The toys will be taken to the school today, and will be used for gifts this holiday season, as well as for educational purposes.
Everyone involved agrees it's great to give back.
