Greenwich First Selectman Fred Camillo is urging people to help a single mother whose two sons have autism.
The nonprofit Amy’s Angels is holding a fundraiser for Timea Zadori, the children’s full-time caregiver. Her sons are non-verbal and require around-the-clock care. She says the pandemic has only made the situation worse.
“I cannot sleep in the night. I am nonstop thinking, ‘How can we pay the rent?’” she says.
The nonprofit is trying to raise enough money to help Zadori pay for rent, utilities and other expenses.
Anyone who can is urged to donate at the Amy’s Angels website.
