The city's Health Department is alerting residents of two additional cases of Legionnaires' disease at the Tracey Towers.
The news comes just one week after the initial scare at 20 West Moshulu Parkaway. This has left residents weary as to how many more residents might be affected.
The Department of Health says residents were notified once again of the disease this past Monday in a meeting. As of last week, health inspectors were sampling the water system.
The department says residents are notified when there are two or more cases of Legionnaires' reported at the building within a 12-month period.
Legionnaires' can be caused by breathing in water vapor containing the bacteria. This can cause serious lung problems such as pneumonia.
However, the Health Department told residents they could continue drinking the water as long as the tap water was cold. They also encourage residents to continue washing their hands.
The department is also advising residents that instead of a shower they should take a bath and fill the tub slowly.
The meeting held on Monday made it clear to residents that 40 Moshulu Parkaway was not affected.
