HEAT ALERT: Heat advisory issued for parts of the Hudson Valley as temps rise into the 90s

Storm Watch Meteorologist Craig Allen says this weekend will be hot and humid. 
Expect hot, summer-like weather this weekend. Sunday will also be an unseasonably very warm to hot day with a mix of sun and clouds. Tracking some scattered showers with a chance for a thunderstorm late Sunday afternoon into Monday. Next week, more seasonably comfortable temperatures return.
The heat did not break any recorded temperatures on Saturday.
NEXT: Another hot summer-like day on Sunday. High temps within a few degrees either side of 90. Heat Index 95-100.
