Heavy rainstorms pounded the Bronx Wednesday, taking down trees, power lines and creating havoc in a short amount of time.

Heavy rainstorms pounded the Bronx Wednesday, taking down trees, power lines and creating havoc in a short amount of time.
In Pelham Gardens on the north side of Pelham Parkway and Seymour Avenue, fire crews were seen removing a fallen tree Wednesday afternoon. Mid-afternoon downpours made for a rough commute that required some drivers to pull over due to a lack of visibility.
