High Bridge reopening celebrated with festival
After spending more than 40 years closed down, the High Bridge in Highbridge reopened this year.
Residents celebrated with a community festival Saturday.
The High Bridge is the oldest standing bridge in New York City and had been closed after the city's financial woes in the '70s left it deteriorated.
The bridge connects Manhattan to the Bronx.
