A Bronx holistic health practitioner recommends alternative treatments for those suffering during this year's allergy season.
Deanna Hope-Felix of the Spring Rejuvenation Center in Wakefield recommends juicing. Eating dairy and processed foods is counterproductive to fighting allergies, she says.
Hope-Felix recommends stocking up on ginger, lemon and garlic to use in home cooking. She says they help cleanse the system.
She also recommends natural oils like peppermint, lavender and eucalyptus to help reduce inflammation.
