Hostos Community College holds event to address immigrants' concerns
Hostos Community College held an event Wednesday to address immigrants' concerns as the inauguration of President-elect Donald Trump nears.
The event was an opportunity for the college to educate students about immigration, housing, citizenship and employment-related issues.
"We need to remember what our civil liberties are and make sure we take proactive steps to protect them. Our students deserve to be protected," said Hostos Community College President David Gomez.
Community-based organizations, as well as government agencies, were at the event to provide answers to students who may have questions.
