Giants quarterback Eli Manning said goodbye to his 16-year-career on Friday.
Manning said he chose to leave the game with only positive memories. He talked about his connection with his teammates, and how championships create an
unbreakable bond.
“I’ll miss standing in the shadows, staring out onto the field before a game, surrounded by my teammates and knowing all the hard work we put in,” Manning said during Friday’s news conference. “I’ll miss hearing the first roar of the crowd, triggering the knowledge that we had been given one more opportunity to go win a football game.”
Manning said he has not a single regret, saying, “I think it worked out for you and for me.”

Here are his accomplishments:
Two Super Bowl championships, two Super Bowl MVPs, four Pro Bowl Selections, third all-time in consecutive starts.
He also has 57,023 passing yards, 366 TD passes, and tied the NFL record with most game- winning drives in a season.
Co-owner John Mara said that the final game his father, Wellington, saw was Manning’s first win, adding that no one will ever wear No. 10 again.
“You will always be the ultimate Giant, and we would be honored to induct you into our Ring of Honor next season," Mara said. "And please know this, no Giant will ever wear No. 10 again."
