This year more Long Islanders need help than ever before.
Island Harvest food bank has been helping get food on the Thanksgiving table for over a decade. It has done it again this year on Friday by hosting its annual Bethpage Turkey Drive.
Long Islanders were asked to donate frozen turkeys, non-perishable food items or cash.
A no-contact donation drive-thru allowed donors to remain in their cars.
The drive was held between 7:30 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. at Bethpage Federal Credit Union's headquarters on South Oyster Bay Road in Bethpage.
